I started writing on the internet almost ten years back on a Wordpress blog - Potpourri of Thoughts. I have always loved to write. I like to express my thoughts through writing. I believe writing helps one become a better thinker. I'm also an eclectic reader and enjoy reading books on genres across History, Science, Fiction, Biographies, Business, Technology, Memoirs, Travel, etc. I believe that reading good books can indeed be life-changing.
Though I have degrees in Information Technology (IT) and Business Management, most of my true learning has come from books (not the course books, of course), workplace, interaction with people, talks, online courses, projects, real-life experiences, and failures. Yes, I firmly believe in self-learning as a life-long process and that formal education is just one of the ways to educate oneself and learning shouldn't just stop there.
Apart from being a book lover, I'm also an ardent dog lover and like to spend my time in the company of my pet. My uncle gifted me a puppy when I was young and since then I developed fondness for furry friends.
A space enthusiast since childhood, I like to keep myself updated about the latest developments and discoveries in space.
I also like to watch war movies and movies based on historical events. My taste in music totally depends on my mood. Occasionally, I also draw Mandalas to de-stress.
And hey, you can often find me indulging in my favorite hangout spots, bookshops and bakeries, either lost in a good book or savouring the aroma of freshly baked tea cake.
